Visualizing
Posted in Business, Movies with tags 3D, Architecture, Custom Home Plans on 21 May 2009 by charlesgiermanassociatesOver the last 15 years we have provided our clients with art work.
It started with blueprints of the front using felt tip markers to add color. As new software came out, we colored using the computer. People like the idea of having their images sent to them by email. Progress has brought us to the world of 3D. We started doing isometric views with landscaping and shadows. After that we added color and texture. Now we are able to do flyarounds. Our clients enjoy knowing what their projects will look like, even before the ground is broken.
Below you will see some of the movies we have done. Please keep checking our pages to the right for new additions in both floors plans and flyarounds.

Posted in Commercial Plans, Residential Plans with tags Architecture, Commercial Plans, Custom Home Plans on 18 May 2009 by charlesgiermanassociatesWhat a wonderful weekend. Saturday we received 1.25” of rain. It was a nice slow rain. The next morning when I went for a walk, the temperature was 12 degrees cooler.
Now about the new plans.
We have added two new projects, one residential and one commercial.
The home is 3,350 square feet of living area. The view is to the front overlooking a lake.
The commercial building has a total square footage of 28,000. The largest building will be used for gymnastic training. The smaller building will be for swimming lessons, batting cages and parties.
If you have any comments, I look forward to reading them.
New Builder
Posted in Business with tags Architecture on 14 May 2009 by charlesgiermanassociatesOne thing good about doing work all over Texas is the different areas I visit. Wednesday’s trip sent me to the Clear Lake area. I was able to visit my favorite seafood vendor. Rose’s Seafood, located in Seabrook, Texas. Hurricane Ike destroy their business. They were closed for 7 months and have just reopened the last one. I ended up with a cooler full of FRESH seafood.
But back to business, I picked up a new builder. We will be starting on a small apartment complex, adding a carwash and inside café to an existing gas station and doing a backyard studio for a residence.
Now, What to have for dinner.
